New Patients
Natural medicine can feel new. Here is exactly what to expect, what to bring and how the visit works, so patients can walk in relaxed.
What to Expect
Schedule online through Zocdoc, by phone, or via the contact form. Some health history is gathered ahead of time so the visit stays focused on the patient.
The initial visit is a thorough conversation about health, lifestyle, history and goals. The Institute treats the person, not just the disease — many patients say it’s the first time a doctor truly listened.
The assessment may include an Ayurvedic constitutional evaluation, a naturopathic exam and lab review, and a Chinese-medicine evaluation to understand the full picture.
The plan is designed together and may combine nutrition, herbal medicine, bodywork, acupuncture, detox therapies like colon hydrotherapy, and lifestyle guidance — all tailored to the patient.
Healing is a partnership. The plan is adjusted over follow-up visits, and the physicians stay available between appointments through the patient portal.
What to Bring
Please arrive a few minutes early for the first visit, and provide 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule.

Initial consultations are longer than a typical doctor’s visit, allowing time to understand a patient’s full health story. An estimate is provided at the time of booking.
No referral is needed to book. If an insurance plan requires one for naturopathic visits, the office staff will help sort it out.
